Sooooo... I've changed the name of my blog. It used to be called "Stuff Grandmom Said", which chronicled things our awesome Grandmoms would say. Sadly, my awesome Gram passed away last August. Since I cannot chronicle the awesome things she would say, I'll still chronicle the things yours say if you send it along to me. Hopefully, I'll remember some good ones from Gram and pass them along.
So I've decided to re-name my blog and give it a second go.
My friend Rachel says that I'm funny and that I should chronicle my adventures... so here we go!
NYC adventure post coming soon....

Visiting with Gram
While watching the 5 o'clock news...
Grandmom: What is wrong with that woman's face?
Me: Which one?
Grandmom: The newscaster trying to hard to look young. Her face is too tight.
Me: Oh, that one... yup, you're right.
Grandmom: I'm always right, thats why I'm the cute one.

On St. Patrick's Day...
Me: Happy St. Patrick's day, Grandmom!!! Are you making anything special today.
Grandmom: Happy St. Patrick's Day! Yes, I'm making ham and cabbage.
Me: I made some Soda Bread that was very tasty.
Grandmom: Very good. You know that you're part Irish, right?
Me: Ummmm.... yeah.
Grandmom: Ok, just checking to make sure you remembered.

At dinner
Grandmom: (after tasting my glass of Glenlivet): How do you drink this? This tastes like paint thinner. You should drink Gin.

Grandmom: Oooo, Who's that man?
Us: The refree.
Grandmom: He looks like a piece of toast. I'd like to butter him.
Us: Grandmom!
